Ivan Lendl, former World No. 1 professional tennis player was one of the game's dominant players in the 1980s and early 1990s. During his career, Lendl captured 8 Grand Slam singles titles, and reached a record 19 Grand Slam singles finals. He first attained the World No. 1 ranking on the men's professional tour in February 1983. He finished four years ranked as the world's top player (1985-7 and '89), and was ranked World No. 1 for a total of 270 weeks, breaking the record previously held by Jimmy Connors (since been surpassed by Pete Sampras). Known for his tireless work ethic, Ivan has often been credited for changing the way tennis players approach training. Ivan’s success on the court, and his revolutionary approach to the game has undoubtedly made him one of the most influential tennis players in the world over the last 25 years.
After retiring from the professional tennis scene in 1994, Ivan turned his competitive interests to professional golf where he captured four wins on the Celebrity Players Tour. He has also participated in a broad range of activities including motivational speeches, media functions, meet and greets and autograph sessions for companies such as Lexus, Adidas, Taylor Made, American Express, Hertz, Ben Hogan Co. and JP Morgan.
Ivan now devotes his time to his family with one daughter (Caroline) moving up the ranks of competitive eventing and three daughters (Marika, Isabelle & Daniela) playing competitive junior golf. Following in her sisters' footsteps, Ivan's youngest daughter (Nikola) is sure to be a top contender in any activity she chooses to pursue.
Tim Sheredy, Director of Golf Instruction
PGA Class "A" Professional, Tim Sheredy, earned his Professional Golf Management degree from Ferris State University. Recognized as one of the top golf instructors, Tim spent his the last twelve years as a Senior Instructor at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy, and was voted US Kids Golf Top 50 Instructor.
Tim has coached and aided 2 AJGA Players of the Year, over 40 AJGA All Americans, over 25 FCWT All Americans, over 60 NCAA Division 1 college golfers, and professional players on the LPGA tour, Duramed Futures tour, European Challenge Tour, Canadian Tour and Hooters Tour.
Tim has also been heavily involved on the international level, conducting clinics in Taiwan, Austria, Mexico and the United States as well as coaching the China Girls National Team during their first ever visit to America. He was also the first American consultant to the Taiwan Asian Games Team and top junior players.
Tim is a TaylorMade/Adidas staff member, a Titleist certified clubfitter, a "Putting Guru" on puttingzone.com, the author of SHARP and SMART Golf, A juniors guide to golfing success, and has made two appearances on the Golf Channel Academy Live.
